Kelly Osbourne Kicked Out Of Movies
Page Six reports that on a recent visit to Jimmy Kimmel, Kelly Osbourne talked about the time that she got Kathy Griffin and Sia kicked out of Arclight. The went to see Under My Skin, and Osbourne was being obnoxious. When people complained to her, she told them to "fuck off." So Arclight kicked her out of the theatre. This is why Outtie only sees movies at Arclight: real butter, no commercials, and they kick people out.

Bacon Ranch, right you are. In Austin Texas, the Alamo Drafthouse runs a disclaimer on the screen before the movie about talking and cellphones and getting kicked out if you can't refrain. That's the way it should be.

DeleteYeah the theater is pretty...different. It's a chain (and they serve food and booze, so you can have dinner and a movie all in one) but the guy who runs it doesn't take any shit and has zero problems making that known :)
They also have really neat 'talk along' nights. I went to the Princess Bride one. They gave everyone little bells to ring and bubbles to blow (no idea about that) and wine was half off if you ordered the Princess Buttercup.

DeleteThe Alamo is the best place to see a movie here IMO. They have great anniversary showings of classic movies (The Warriors was one). They also have commemorative t-shirts for their movies occasionally. I got a cool Kill Bill shirt and Bubba Ho-Tep.
Just listening to that bimbo on the recorder, I can imagine how annoying she was being before she got thrown out. LMFAO!!!

ReplyDeleteI was shooting for the book and accidentally got both on my order from the library. I got the next Michael Faber book, The Book of Strange New things, which is pretty fucking wonderful! I hated the movie so badly I didn't read the book but now I wish I had. It may have made sense.
