Katy Perry and Taylor Swift Not Seatmates At Grammys

Katy Perry will not be sitting next to Taylor Swift at tonight's Grammy awards. Us Weekly reports that organizers have strategically seated the two on opposite ends of the audience. The two throw shade at eachother often; part of the reason is due to John Mayer. While Mayer was guest-hosting The Late Late show on Friday, he said of the situation, "You can see me at the Grammys doing what I do best, being avoided by Taylor Swift." The Grammys air tonight on CBS at 8/7c; they do not air live on the West Coast.

  1. Mayer's ego is bigger than his body gives him credit for.

    1. It's hard to be humble and show grace when you ARE.JUST.THAT.TALENTED. 7. Poor John, carrying the burden of being God's Gift must get tiresome.

  2. Why was is US Weekly's job to strategically seat the two of them anywhere in the first place?

  5. And as for perry and swift, i enjoy a classy public feud. Not the broken bottle on head or spitting into one's face, but the not sitting near each other, the gentle, subtle shade throwing, the feigned ignorance of the half if the feud's doings. As well as minions scurrying to keep them seperate. All goid stuff.

    2. Me, too! Although I will admit to watching the halftime show, hoping to see what subtle swipe Katy was going to take at TayTay. Le sigh

    3. In other words, Swifty and Katy will never qualify for an invitation to Bobby Brown's birthday party smack down!

  6. After he made his smart ass comment about TSwift, he made a fist and motion like he'd punch her. Amazed that no one seems to care about a threat of physical violence.

    1. @iknow, seriously? What a douche. I don't think I'd take a threat by Poop Mayer seriously but for it to be glossed over like it didn't happen is ridiculous.

    3. It's too bad he wasn't the one stalking Charlize. I'd like to see Mayer getting a late night visit from "The Peen".

  7. About ' the feud'.

Allegedly it turns - in part - around back up dancers. Tay Tay insists 'her dancers' were stolen.

People aren't properly. If a better deal comes along people - not your property but people- have the right to do whatever the fuck they want.

    1. I agree Gweeds. These people were offered more money she could have countered or just did what she did, hire replacements. While it might come across (excuse me-it did) as stealing it was clearly a business decision for those that chose a higher paying job.

  11. I can't for the life of me figure out how this guy gets all the women he does. He's a douche, he's not attractive and his music is terrible. The sex can't be that great.
