Celebrity Real Estate - Moby Sells His Castle
Until recently, Moby was the owner of Wolf's Lair, a replica of a Norman castle, underneath the Hollywood Sign. Without ever putting the home on the open market, Moby has managed to sell the home for $12.4 million. Since it was never officially on the market, there aren't any listing photos, but there are a few pictures of the property at Curbed LA.
What a stunning home. Just move Jason Bateman in and I'm good to go.
ReplyDeleteHe annoys me.
ReplyDeleteGreat debut album and a decent follow up. Used to really like his music, still listen on occasion. Moody, ambient stuff.
Deleteyeah but he is a preachy vegan. I see lots of leather chairs in those photos.
DeleteLeather chairs! Good call dude......
DeleteTeany tea shop downtown NYC was cool when it opened( long time ago),not sure if it's still there(his lil vegan cafe)
Perhaps they are pleather chairs? Though I wouldn't be surprised if they are real. I know a few people who claim to be vegan, yet still wear leather boots and carry leather bags.
DeleteThe photos are from when Moby bought it from the previous seller

ReplyDeletebelieve it or not he likes the ladies---go hit on him! lol *jokes*
DeleteLove that coffered ceiling.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I get him and Beck confused. I know they look nothing alike.
ReplyDeleteBlasphemy! Beck is my imaginary scientologist boyfriend .
DeleteHa ha Derek. Can't you find a non-Scio imaginary boyfriend?
DeleteApparently Eminem was wrong, Some people do listen to techno. Moby has made a LOT of money in real estate. He sold his penthouse in NYC for nearly 6 million.

Another celeb selling!! What do they know we dont?!
ReplyDeleteVery cool place. Wonder who bought it?
ReplyDeleteHe wrote Extreme Ways for The Bourne Identity. Who doesn't like that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for these RE listings. I am still recovering from the loss of the Real Estalker. Mama is just not the same now.
ReplyDeleteI love these old Hollywood houses from the 20s & 30s, not just these mansions, even little bungalows around the area, their whole style. They're probably my favorite architectural style for houses. It's a shame, you don't see ones like them at all where I'm from.
