maskless guy in the covid vaccine line is on the phone talking about how he got exposed on Saturday and everyone around him tested positive we are never getting out of the pandemic❤️

No matter your feeling on masks, this is just terrible (and harmful) messaging. Two years in and it’s getting worse, vs better. And it illustrates a point I often make- we need actual / both communications experts AND public health experts developing health messaging. 😔 👎🏽 pic.twitter.com/OvVOgzSHPx

The United States will soon drop out of the Top 50 nations in terms of life expectancy.

Every country above us has a public option for health insurance of a publicly funded healthcare system. Not some. Not most. Every single one. https://t.co/DpR5L7zhki
A must-read for everyone. U.S. life expectancy has been on the decline for years, but accelerated during the pandemic - a drop in 3 years in some parts of the country. Our for-profit healthcare system & underinvestment in public health is killing people.https://t.co/rANklCrtLx

I think that the most dreadful effect of COVID-19 for humankind is mass cognitive decline which leads to a collapse of our civilized society.
— Hiroshi Yasuda (保田浩志) (@Yash25571056) September 8, 2022
It is hard to prevent its progression, because the people who have got cognitive declines unrecognize that they have cognitive declines.
This is harm. This is lasting harm. And it makes me soooo angry to think of people in positions of privilege demanding things to be normal, when they were least likely to be bearing the costs. https://t.co/Yvwik0X1ZQ
