Page Six reports that Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Lisa Rinna will reprise her role as Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives. Rinna began taping this week, and her episodes will start to air in 2018.
New Shows:
The Hollywood Reporter announces that the musical drama series The Eddy has been nabbed from Netflix. The show comes from Damien Chazelle, the man behind La La Land, and music for the show will be written by Grammy-winning producer Glen Ballard, who famously worked on Alanis Morisette's Jagged Little Pill.
Renewals:
E! News reports that HBO has officially ordered a third season of True Detective, starring Oscar-winning actor Mahershala Ali. The new season will take place in the Ozarks.
