The Blast* reports that Ryan Phillippe has been sued for assault by ex-girlfriend Elsie Hewitt. Hewitt, 21 and Playboy's Miss June 2017, dated Phillippe from April until July of this year. The lawsuit states that on July 4th, the couple got in an argument fueled by Phillippe's jealousy. The documents claim that Phillippe grabbed her by her upper arm, then “braced his body and violently threw her down his staircase as hard as he could.” After getting back, up, "Hewitt claims that after she got back to her feet and climbed the stairs again, Phillippe grabbed and struck her, kicked her, and then picked her up “like a doll” and tossed her down the stairs again." Hewitt filed a police report after the incident, and was granted an emergency protective order. Hewitt is now suing Phillippe for $1 million in damages.
As for Phillippe, he denies the assault, and claims that Hewitt attacked him.
