Variety reports that TNT's The Last Ship has halted production while star Eric Dane seeks help for depression. His rep released the following statement: “Eric asked for a break to deal with personal issues. He suffers from depression and has asked for a few weeks of downtime and the producers kindly granted that request. He looks forward to returning.” This hiatus will not affect the premiere of the show's fourth season. Dane previously completed a stint in rehab in 2011 for an addiction to painkillers.
