TMZ reports that Mischa Barton has been hospitalized for a mental evaluation. Mischa was having a breakdown in her West Hollywood backyard on Thursday morning, rambling that her mother was a witch among other things, and hanging over (and falling from) her backyard fence. Concerned neighbors contacted authorities, and sheriff's deputies and firefighters showed up and were able to transport her voluntarily to the hospital. Mischa was last placed on a psych hold in 2009; that one was involuntary.
