Anthony Bourdain has written his first cookbook in 12 years, called Appetites. Here's what he had to say to People about the new book:
“When I’m home, I fall back on the food that makes me happy and will make my daughter happy. Who doesn’t like meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, or a good bowl of pasta with a Neapolitan-style ragù? This time around I wanted to make something useful — which is something I really haven’t been for most of my life — something that would reflect my changed situation. I’m a dad now. I’ve been cooking for a little girl for the past seven years. I prepare her school lunches and I cook holiday dinners.”
His new recipes include a stress-free Thanksgiving, and how to cook a perfect omelet.
