Director Michael Cimino Has Passed Away

Oscar-winning director of The Deer Hunter Michael Cimino has passed away at the age of 77. Cimino also wrote and directed the infamous Heaven's Gate, which bombed at the box office. After a 2012 re-release of Heaven's Gate garnered much better reviews and critical acceptance, Cimino was quoted as saying, “I never needed vindication.
