The new season of Real Housewives of New York is currently in production, and Sonja Morgan's latest "toaster oven"* is a Prosecco line that she wants to call Tipsy Girl. Sonja Morgan has partnered with Peter Guimaraes on the line (that probably doesn't exist), and he has Page Six on speed dial feeding them stories every other day about how mad Bethenny Frankel is that Sonja Morgan is going to steal all of her Skinnygirl business by naming her line Tipsy Girl. Bethenny finally got sick of reading this nonsense on the daily, so had one of her people call People to state the following:
"This claim is not legitimate. [Guimaraes] attempted to register the name 'Tipsy Girl' for the restaurant, and his application was rejected because he sent in a picture of the bottle with a fake 'Tipsy Girl' label...[the government bureau] would never approve the name 'Tipsy Girl.' This guy is trying to get his name in print. It will never happen. Skinnygirl is simply protecting its intellectual property and making sure consumers are not confused."
The source also decided to throw some shade at all of the other Housewives:
"These other people's businesses are not always real. They have to find stuff to keep the others relevant."
*Product that she hypes and publicizes but never actually releases after consulting with her "brand management" who thinks that she just needs to think bigger, but mostly it gives her a storyline.
