It's a bad week to be a Scientologist! The Huffington Post reports that the "Church" of Scientology is on trial in Belgium on charges of fraud, extortion, running a criminal organization, violating privacy laws and practicing illegal medicine. The charges are the result of two separate investigations, one that started in 1997 and one that began in 2008. The trial should last about a month, and could result in the church being expelled from Belgium. It may not be as easy as all that; the church can always set back up under another name. Any suggestions for their alias?
