People reports that Randy Quaid and his wife Evie are no longer being detained in Vermont after a judge ruled that there was no reason for the couple's incarceration to continue. Quaid opened up to Good Morning America, as quoted by People:
"It's a very big relief to have been vindicated. It was like finally somebody understands our situation."
On the charges he's facing in Santa Barbara for squatting in a guest house:
"This is just a property dispute."
And on his comeback:
"I'd just like to thank everyone for all their nice thoughts and support, and I hope you'll see me real soon out there on the big screen or the small screen or Netflix."
Okay, someone out there needs to create a buddy cop series for Randy Quaid and Gary Busey, stat!
