Avril Lavigne, 30, and husband, Nickelback's Chad Kroeger, 40, have announced that they are splitting. Keeping it classy, Lavigne turned to Instagram to announce the split. People quotes her post as follows: "It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for your support."
What's behind the split? Hard to say. Perhaps in her road to recovery, Avril began to find Chad Kroeger's voice as nauseating as I do, and had to boot him for the good of her health. Who knows? Now the real dilemma...should there be an Avril Lavigne song or a Nickelback song to accompany this post? It's Sophie's choice really. Here's one of each; pick your poison!
