Actress Claire Holt Is Engaged

People reports that actress Claire Holt, who has appeared on the CW series The Originals and The Vampire Diaries, and who currently appears on NBC's Aquarius, is engaged to Matt Kaplan. The Australian Holt recently talked to People about how Kaplan helps her perfect her American accent for her role on Aquarius:

"My boyfriend – Matt Kaplan – is American, so any time I'm unsure of how to say something, I say, 'Hey how do you say this?' and he yells it out. I think it's always going to sound funny to him and not quite right, but hopefully the public who watch it won't be able to catch on!"
