Albert Maysles Has Died

Albert Maysles, the man behind both Grey Gardens and Gimme Shelter, passed away on Thursday at the age of 88. Read his full obituary at the LA Times.

    Grey Gardens would be excellent to watch stoned. Drew and Jessica Lange were extraordinary in it. Thanks for the memories Mr. Maysles..

    Grey Gardens was very good and then Barrymore and Lange's version was spot on.
