TV Show Roundup

Cancellations:
LeAnn Rimes' reality show with Eddie Cibrian, with the imaginative name LeAnn & Eddie, has been cancelled by VH1, reports People. 

Casting News:
Ian McShane is joining Season 3 of Showtime's Ray Donovan, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

    Did anyone watch that shit show of Leann's? Must kill her that Brandi keeps getting TV exposure and she's not. Karma.

    Ian McShane however that's good casting there.

      Was just watching Ian in Pillars of the Earth last night and commenting how in both Deadwood and Pillars he's the bad guy. I'm sure he'll play a good guy in Ray Donovan. Ha ha.

      Yes Ian McShane elevates whatever he is in. He can play evil or good just as well. I can't remember what movie I saw he was a good guy.

    Actually by "reality" TV standards LeAnn and Eddie wasn't a bad show. It's just most people don't care about them. Nicole Richie's show, on the same night on VH1, was cuter and was renewed almost immediately.

    @Sherry -- Brandi is sure getting exposure but most of it's bad! She comes across as unhinged. I think it may mostly be mixing psychiatric drugs with alcohol. But she's crazy too, thus the psych meds to begin with.

    I honestly believe the yodeler thought the haters would watch & pump up the ratings. When they didn't, oh well.

    There are still a couple of tiny casinos that will attempt to book her. But she's screwed up her rep as being unreliable with all of her faux illnesses.

    I'm just glad people are finally calling out Cibrian as the dog he is & always has been . Pun intended. HA!

      I'd say Brandi's bizarre behavior has drummed up some sympathy for Eddie. Instead of looking like a serial cheater (which he undoubtedly is), he's starting to look like someone who was smart enough to run for his life.
