Tom Ford Could Return To Gucci
Remember when I said that I hoped that Gucci would keep throwing money at Tom Ford until he returned to the brand? Well, ask and ye shall receive! Page Six is reporting that Tom Ford's name is in the mix to take over the brand. Ford ran Gucci from 1994-2004. Ford parted ways with the brand over a dispute with the parent company, PPR. Since then, Gucci has a new parent company. The new owner is Kering, headed by Salma Hayek's husband François-Henri Pinault. Keep your fingers crossed!
