Paramore Singer Engaged to New Found Glory Guitarist
Here's another Christmas proposal: People reports that Paramore singer Hayley Williams, 26, is engaged to New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert, 33. The couple have been together since 2008. Gilbert announced the news in a very cute Instagram post.
Chad was married to Sherry from Eisley for a minute about 7 or 8 years ago. I think they probably met on the Warped Tour or something similar. Anyway they broke up and Chad wrote some snarky song that fans thought was about her (or maybe it was the other way around). Much angry blogging ensued and Sherry's new boyfriend (now husband) Max from Say Anything wrote this long blog post how he wanted to kick Chad's ass for disrespecting his girl but he knew that Chad would probably kick his ass harder. And much more blah, blah, blah ensued.
So there's your indie/punk rock ancient bit of gossip for the day. BTW Say Anything is an awesome band and Max Bemis is a fucking amazing, angry, prolific songwriter. Anyone who is interested should check out Is A Real Boy or In Defense of the Genre.
Definitely worth checking out. Max Bemis is an incredibly talented singer-songwriter whether he's playing acoustic or electric. He's from LA and went to school with Henry Winkler's son (also named Max). Winkler heard Max B. playing his songs so many times while he was hanging out at his house, that he helped/encouraged him to get a deal. Max B. repaid Winkler, by putting him in the Say Anything video for their song, "Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too". Their song "Alive With The Glory of Love" got a lot of play on MTV some years ago.
So yeah, sorry to hijack this post, but Max Bemis is way more talented and interesting than Avril/Chad 2.0. And yes, I'm a fan girl. BW
thats right up there with Avril and Chad

She's the chick who sent a topless picture to her bf on twitter, not realising it wasn't a direct message, so her whole fanbase got to see her norks.
