Crosby Still and Nash Drummer Dallas Taylor Has Died
Dallas Taylor, who played drums for Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, passed away on Sunday at the age of 66, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He is survived by his wife, Patti McGovern-Taylor.
It seems like a lot of supporting musicians are passing away recently. It's incredible how many "front and center" rock stars we still have with us, when you consider their past lifestyles.
I know I'm a day later, but lets not forget Rick Rosas, aka "Rick the Bass Player". Member of Buffalo Springfield, played with Neil and Peggy Young for years and everyone else too. He was a sweetheart of a guy and a monster on bass. One of his last gigs was playing with Lukas Nelson. RIP Rick and Dallas. Shit. BW
I wonder what he died of. He battled addictions years ago, but had been clean for a long time. RIP
ReplyDeleteSounds like cancer or heart troubles. RIP.
ReplyDeleteRip and thanks for the beautiful music.
