Comcast Reminds Everyone Why They Hate Comcast
Lisa Brown recently called Comcast to cancel their cable service. In addition to charging the customer a $60 cancellation fee, the Comcast rep changed the name on all of the bills to Asshole Brown, and despite her best efforts, Comcast refused to change the name on the bill. Consumer Advocate Christopher Elliott was able to resolve the situation with Comcast, and even got a two-year refund from Comcast to Brown. DeleteI guess this story was let out so that it would make us all forget that Comcast is ghost-writing letters for legislators to send in support of the merger with TW.

This is completely unacceptable. Whoever is in charge of these people needs to slap them with the fine from hell. I know, I know...probably no one is in charge of them. There really needs to be some kind of Media Czar that the communications companies ultimately answer to.

This isn't uncommon with disgruntled employees. There have been several articles about servers changing the name on the receipt at the top to say something like A*hole Table 2. Comcast employees also labeled a customer Whore Jones. Klassy.
