Celebrity Real Estate - Josh Hartnett Edition

Josh Hartnett has managed to stay out of the public eye, mainly because his house is located in Minneapolis. Now Hartnett is putting his Minneapolis home on the market for $2.395 million. Hartnett has owned the home since 2002. The home was originally built in 1887, and has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and modern amenities. See pictures of the home here.

  2. Beautiful. Looks like the house from Meet Me in St. Louis.

  3. That house is a block away from my grandparents. They used to see him when they would walk their dogs & he was walking his dog. They would make some small talk. Didn't know who he was for years. That area of the city is historic & protected & you have to leave the house, no mc mannsions, no fences even.

    1. Jessica, it seems expensive for Minneapolis. Is the neighborhood the upscale part of the city, which would justify the price?

    2. The area is historic, protected, lake views, & high demand. That house won't be on the market long, even in the middle of winter. There are a good number of neighborhoods around the Twin Cities that are that pricey or even more so.

  7. Lovely home. Know what Victorian homes need that they don't have? Closets!! List that on the property descriptions. But yes, it's very pretty but there are issues with having a house that's an historic landmark and that means all changes have to be approved by a lot of people. Not as much fun as one would think.

  8. Love it. I live in the East but tried for years to convince my SO to move to Minnesota. HATE the video.

  9. The video wouldn't load for me, so thanks @Missinfo! I love this house! The staircase looks like the one from Charmed.

  10. @sugarboo- was that you and @Derek that were discussing some Shartnett debacle at a hotel a while back? What happened there? All I remember is that people were calling him Shartnett and now I can't go back to using his actual name

  11. I looked it up on Zillow where they give you better photos and details. Damn that has got to be the nicest restoration of a historical house I've ever seen. That kitchen is fucking fantastic! I'd be camped out in there most of the time. See this is the difference between a professional staging your house, and dorks that want to charge a million + for a house
staged with their own personal tacky furniture. His house looks flawless and that's a hell of a large basement too.
