Outtie Original Blind Item

This older B list actor/writer is out of town filming a movie, and his wife is with him. The wife recently went into an upscale home goods store, and acted like a complete bitch. She made her entrance by stating, "I need a lot of help, I'm going to be here a while, and I'm going to spend a lot of money." The wife proceeded to spend the next 6 hours treating the employees of the store like crap. The older B list actor/writer husband does mostly movies, and is currently working on a movie starring this A list mostly action movie star who is part of a double-bearding couple, and an A list TV and Movie actor whose temper always gets him into hot water.

    1. I once spent close to 90 minutes in BB and B trying to pick out a bed set. I couldn't decide if I wanted to mix and match sheets with a duvet, or go for a comforter set. I also couldnt tell which colors looked best with my skin tone, and that's important so I don't look sallow in bed during a romantic interlude ;) And I also did everything myself and did NOT have the means to 'spend a lot of money.' But sometimes home stores can suck you in. No need to be rude to the staff though!

Albert Brooks for the B lister with the bitchy wife?

    2. Alex Baldwin's wife fits the description, but is Alex a B-list actor/writer? And I wouldn't call him mostly movies.

      Will and Jada fit well.

    3. And the guy with the temper issue could be Luke Wilson (fired from Juno as he was drunk on set and feuded with the director).

  9. Aw, I hope it's not Albert Brooks' wife Kimberly. Her dad was Leonard Schain and he wrote a fantastic book called Sex, Time and Power: How Women's Sexuality Shaped Human Evolution.

  13. The wife's been watching Pretty Woman again.

You see this young lady over here?
    Hollister: Yes.
Edward: Do you have anything in this shop as beautiful as she is?
    Hollister: Oh, yes.
    [Edward gives Hollister a look.]
Hollister: Oh, no! No, no! No. I'm saying we have many things as beautiful as she… would want them to be! [babbling] That's the point I was getting at. And I think we can all agree with that. That's why, when you came in here, you knew from the first—
Edward: You know what we're gonna need here? We're going to need a few more people helping us out. I'll tell you why. We are going to be spending an obscene amount of money in here. So we're going to need a lot more help sucking up to us, 'cause that's what we really like.
    Hollister: Ohhhh!
    Edward: You understand that.
Hollister: Sir, if I may say so, you're in the right store, and the right city, for that matter!
Hollister: Exactly how obscene an amount of money were you talking about? Just… profane, or really offensive?
    Edward: Really offensive.
Hollister: [to himself] I like him so much.

  14. So did the wife buy anything, or just had the staff running ragged for an hour (I doubt 6 hours)? At least she announced her intention right away. I do that when forced to go shopping for something expensive. I know roughly what I want before going into the store, and just tell one of the people there they are about to make the easiest commission ever if they can make sure I get out of there fast.
