Another day, another story about the horrible drama behind the scenes on The View. TMZ exclusively reports the latest, that Rosie O'Donnell is rude to everyone on earth and that she expected to get Whoopi Goldberg's moderator position when she returned to the show. Rosie's rep responded to TMZ saying, "This is absolutely false! Whoopi Goldberg has been the moderator since
Whoopi was hired and Rosie knew that before she took the job."
In this case, Rosie's side of the story seems most accurate. Is she rude to people or difficult to get along with? Sure, probably. It seems unlikely that she ever thought she'd be the moderator while Whoopi is still on the show, though. Someone from the network is probably desperate for ratings to pick up.
Is this or is this not manufactured drama to attract viewers? I don't much care about daytime chatter, so I lose track.
ReplyDeleteAt this point, The View is only on anyone's mind because of the interpersonal turmoil, not the content of the show. I think it's time to put it in the boneyard.

DeleteMeh..who cares what happens there.. Does anyone here watch that show? I don't think I've ever seen it but then I'm working during the day and can't watch TV (and wouldn't either).
ReplyDeleteI remember watching years ago when Elizabeth was still on the show and she and Rosie were at each other's throats. One of the other hosts was speaking and Rosie put her finger to the side of her nose and blew a booger onto the floor right in the middle of the shot.

ReplyDeleteI watch from time to time. Don't mind Rosie O'Donnel at all. Can't figure out why Rosie Perez was hired. She's been in the public eye forever but is stiff and always sounds like she's reading what someone else wrote instead of bringing her own ideas to the table. She always seems to monopolize the conversation. I know Barbara Walters has sacked Rosie O but wish they'd get rid of Perez first! She may be a find person but she doesn't know how to interview nor participate in a panel
