Mel B Walks Out on Stephen Belafonte

Mel B showed up at an X Factor taping on Sunday covered in what looked like bruises. She had not yet released a statement about her appearance, and her husband Stephen Belafonte was busy furiously tweeting that he was not the cause of said bruises, but now it seems that he may be the source after all. The Daily Mail reports that Mel B has walked out on her husband after a series of furious arguments. Mel B still has yet to comment on either story.

    The picture I saw showed bruises on her upper arms. Why then did Mel wear a sleeveless top? She obviously wanted this story to come out. I wonder if he did hurt her or if she got them in an innocent way and is manipulating the press/story.

    If I keel over dead for no apparent reason, an autopsy will show bruises on my arms, legs, and other random areas. The reason for this will not be my S.O., but a crazy three year old Dalmatian/Boxer ~ who boxes...alot.

    Hasn't there been rumors of this guy since the beginning of there relationship? If Mel B had an accident, was klutzy, or some other circumstance that caused bruising why let these insinuations go without comment? If the bruising is innocent, why not have your makeup people hide them? They can cover up tattoos for goodness sakes, they could "erase" a bruise.

    If he abused her, her priority shld be herself and her children. Its a shame it has to play out in public, but if it spurs one person to get help there is some sort of justice there.

      Yep, Belafonte even tweeted that her hospitalization was 'cowell doing publicity'.

      Every year they seem to follow a 'whatever it takes' approach to ensuring the xfactor is constantly in the headlines. I assume there is something in the series contract that says ratings drops are permissible as long as a certain number of headlines are accrued?

    She collapsed and was admitted hospital last week and he was nowhere to be found apparently
