Daytime Party Monster
Who remembers the film Party Monster? Well, Michael Alig is out of jail, and still loves a good party, according to Page Six! Unfortunately, his parole-induced curfew restricts his partying to the daytime hours. In addition to day-partying in Ibiza, Alig co-designed a line of clothing with famed Sex and the City designer Patricia Field, and is working on his autobiography.
I hated that movie and I hate those type of people.
ReplyDeleteWhy would pay field work with him? I liked the movie though...
ReplyDeletePat^
ReplyDeleteI'm going to buy every single piece from that collection!!
ReplyDeleteWho?
ReplyDeleteI must have missed his debut...in court.
He was a party organizer with the Club kids in New York in the 90s. While high on drugs, he brutally murdered his roommate. I did not see the film but loved the documentary.
ReplyDeleteParty Monster was good, even though Parker Posey's character was super annoying.
ReplyDeleteI'm confused though...Alig's parole prevents him from going out at night, but not from flying to Ibiza??
@Rose You are thinking of Party Girl. I always loved Parker's character line about the things she was good at, "keeping it together while being effed up and putting on make up."
DeleteNever seen Party Monster myself.
Oh yeah, duh!! You're totally right. Party Monster was the one with Macauley Culkin, right?
Delete@rose-yep! I havent seen the parker posey one. I may have to see it

Agree. I really liked it, and thought it did a good job of portraying that sub culture.
DeleteRose. You're totally right- there's no way they're going to allow a former drug addict killer(butcherer, I should say) to fly to the Party Isle of the Seas where the drugs flow like the tide..& yet not let him out in New York After dusk---- BullS**t!!!
ReplyDeleteUmmmmm Space Ibiza New York is a club on W 50th street....
ReplyDeleteKat has left the building is right, if you read the pg six article it says he had a daytime tour post therapy session at the NYC club- big difference
