Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is already facing tax fraud charges, and now TMZ reports that Sitch has lost his tanning salon. The Situation wasn't paying his rent, so his landlord took him to court. The two came to an agreement, but math isn't Sitch's strong suit, because he continued to miss the payments. The landlord is now shutting the tanning salon down. He always has his music career to fall back on...
Who'da thunk that Snooki was the brains of that outfit?
ReplyDeleteI've never seen any of the Jersey Shore shows (or any of these other reality shows in the last 10 years), but I almost feel bad for some of these people - almost. Did they really think this would all last forever? Did they think they'd be raking in that kind of dough the rest of their lives? Did no one in their family or close circle advise them?
ReplyDeleteInstead of teaching half the crap currently on the curriculum in high school these days, perhaps financing and budgeting would be a worthwhile addition. Also a quickie class on taxes might be helpful.
They were getting 300k Per episode last 2 seasons of js. Snooki parents made her put it all away and learn to live on very little and got her a business manager. . I bet she is laughing her ass off today over Mikey the Snitch..
ReplyDeleteIt's not just a cautionary tale for reality "stars" but for anyone in a business that values youth and good looks. Like models and athletes, most only last 10-20 yrs and then you have to fall back onto something else. You should save/invest the money you make and decide what you will love doing for the rest of your life.
ReplyDeleteLook at MC Hammer, that shit will sober you up.
