Matt Lauria was Luke Cafferty on Friday Night Lights (the guy whose parents didn't want him to play football and he lied about his address). Jason Katims was the head writer on FNL and also on Parenthood. Scott Porter was Jason Street on FNL - STREET! - and in the season finale of Parenthood _SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER_ was Amber's new husband holding their baby.
I'm going to miss Parenthood. Some of it was hokey but I confess, I liked the Bravermans. And yummy but not very bright Joel.
Forgot to mention Matt was Amber's baby's father Ryan.
And "you ain't ready"? Does that mean something new is coming up? I would so tune in. Jason Katims is amazing - he wrote the series finale for FNL and created Parenthood and About a Boy.
Small correction to your SPOILER: the little girl he was holding was his. In a deleted scene, the single parents met at a ball pit or something and later got married. :) /END SPOILER
