I finally got my son to take a nap, and I'm sitting down for 10 minutes with a glass of wine catching up on General Hospital. First of all, Nicholas Cassadine looks exactly the same. Ditto for Helena. I thought this mess was on at 2 now but's the 3 o'clock hour right now. I've been on GH hiatus for a few years. Ever since the whole vampire thing. And Robin was doing something to annoy me. I just can't.
Thanks to everyone that mentioned Broad City. I'd never heard of it, but watched the first 2 episodes last night and loved it. There's a scene in the dentist office where a lady asked Abbi how many kids she has and instead of replying, Abbi does a stealthy(she thinks) slow roll out of the room. That is exactly how I feel anytime someone asks me about kids. Only time I've legit LOL'd at a TV show in a while
Love the gifs! Glad to know others feel me there Apparently it's unfathomable that a married 30yr old women doesn't want kids. I may politely reply when asked, but mentally I'm doing a Abbiesque roll to escape
Guido enjoyed a vasectomy at age 24. Doctors were appalled but my family had my back. See in the old country my grandpa was one of 19 sons born to my great grandmother.
We take family planning very seriously. Vasectomy are kinda our go strategy.
Yeah reminded me of a trip to Vegas when my sister in law coochied her weed on the plane. Like she couldn't find any in Vegas? Wonder if she would've passed if they picked her for that sniffer thing at security
I never wanted kids ever! Some folks can't get that concept through their heads but that's not my problem. I know my own personal limitations and kids are squarely over that line for sure. I love my dogs though.
Why did Grey's skip a week? I finished The Good Wife and filled in the time with some Hoarders. There's nothing like a few Hoarders episodes to make you clean out a closet and tidy your desk!
I'm pissed because Empire Records did show up in the Wed night line up on my DirectTV feed in the Bay Area. That's making me mad and I wonder why it is.
These two though would be awesome to hang with. Both do colorful literally and figuratively.
If Lady H loves Broad City, that's all I need. Must cruise over and check it out. After my self imposed tv hiatus ends. Currently my tv is covered in a black shroud after last Sunday's game I can't speak of.
Yes I keep the black fabric my mother used for when we acknowledge grief. Typically we cover mirrors. Guidos love their rituals.
Just started A SPY AMONG FRIENDS. Wow. Wow wow wow.
Awww thanks!!! Y'all made my day by talking about my #1 bitches! I'm actually watching this week's episode again as I was reading this and it made me smiiiiiiile
oh and that recipe looked Damn tasty. My godmother hails from Hungary and she taught me how to prepare fruit dumplings. My favorite is to take a whole peach, turn it in to a dumpling, smother it in cinnamon and melted butter and sprinkle dry cottage cheese on top. (Essentially it's just the curd, no juice for the cottage cheese.)
Every August I make it for my vegetarian friends and they love it.
You should see this drive thru line at @Filibertos on the 101 tonight! I just started watching Girlfriends Guide to Divorce so thanks everyone for that recommendation! Time for beer, burritos and TV with the homegirl
Variety is reporting that Rosie O'Donnell is exiting the view.
She will exit the ABC show next week to focus on her family, following a split from wife Michelle Rounds, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Next week will be her final on the show.
...behind-the-scenes, O'Donnell and co-host Whoopi Goldberg are known to have clashed and the reboot has failed to reverse the show's ratings woes.
Page Six says in part: Sources close to O’Donnell told us that she and Rounds, her wife of three years, have been living apart for months, and that O’Donnell feels she must leave the ABC daytime show to focus on her five kids.
Rosie is a mess. She's been a mess for a long time. I cannot imagine what it would be like to live with such an angry, volatile person.
The Daily Mail is reporting that police are investigating Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend, Nick Gordon in relation to her drowning accident. The story is here.
Authorities found suspicious injuries on Brown during her admission to the hospital last Saturday.
The DM also says that TMZ reports: The site (TMZ) reported that police are looking into claims there was an altercation between Bobbi and Gordon, who are believed to have a history of domestic violence, in the hours before the incident. Lomas also alleges that Gordon cleaned up blood in his house before paramedics and police arrived at the scene.
Yes remember I said I wondered if it was an accident at the get go. I read yesterday Nick Gordon had not visited BK once in the hospital. Very odd for someone so "close" to BK. So not surprised when I got a breaking news Billboard email with the the headline "Police Reportedly Investigating Foul Play in Bobbi Kristina Case, Looking at 'Husband' Nick Gordon".
So you start a relationship with someone and you are aware they have some bad habits. Sometimes you try to establish the ground rules from the beginning. What's acceptable and what's not - no drinking directly out of the juice container, no socks on the floor, no calling you by someone else's name during sex. No drinking to the point of idiocy. Maybe the other person follows the rules for awhile, but then, as time goes on and the relationship starts to come down from that euphoric stage, things start to slide. What do you do? Reiterate the ground rules or let things loosen up?
From Foxella:
He had already had two bottles of wine to himself
Lots of tension at the table when this foreign born A list mostly movie actress got into an argument with her A list mostly movie actor boyfriend when he ordered some shots.
He had already had two bottles of wine to himself.
For once in his life the actor backed down when the actress threatened to leave.
Where is the Banshee Banter people? Watched it last night and thought I'd see some mention. Those damn Redbones have really started something. Lucas is fixing to open a major can of whoop ass on those fuckers next week.
P.S. I'm still waiting for ANYONE to notice that NOLA is "missing". I still say that was one of the most epic fight scenes I've seen in awhile. Guess I'll just wait until someone else pipes up about Lucas Booth and company.
Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis was the first thing to make me smile today.
ReplyDelete+1. Don't you wanna join in?

DeleteLady I'm super excited for Sunday. Just listened to a podcast with Odenkirk a few weeks back that wet my appetite.

I'm mega late to this post. If anyone reads this, check out the British semi-improvised comedy Outnumbered. Binge watching The Affair.
