Scientologists Are Bad Tippers
Recently, the Hollywood Scientology Center placed an order for 180 pizzas from Papa Johns. The bill was just over $2,000, but when the pizza was delivered, the drivers left without getting tipped, TMZ reports. An updated to the story claims that after Senior Scientologists, aka Xenu, read about the negative report on TMZ (because you know they have Google alerts for that shit), and sent $300 to the restaurant as a very tardy tip. Perhaps the delivery man inquired after the whereabouts of Shelly?
I'm surprised they didn't offer a 10% discount on his first session with an E-Meter.
ReplyDeleteWhere's Shelly?
ReplyDeleteSo not only are they a cult, but they buy shitty pizza from a wingnut run pizza joint. O for three man, O for three!!
ReplyDeleteIndeed. Three strikes, even.

DeleteLOL @auntliddy!
ReplyDeleteFor everyone who keeps asking about Shelly Miscavige, it is understood she is in "The Hole," Scientology’s notorious concentration camp for fallen executives at its California headquarters.

Sorry no clicky y'all.
Alas, I am too poor to be of interest to a cult, and I'm too short with a name too close to Nicole to get Tommy's interest. (There's a plus for you.)
ReplyDeleteSo they are cheap too. And they are tax-exempt why?
ReplyDelete@Basil, because they infiltrated the IRS. Not even a joke, they actually did - they called it Operation Snow White.
ReplyDeleteIt's mind boggling that the IRS hasn't revoked their 501(c)3 status. I do work for some 501c3 organizations and there is a pretty high threshold of accountability that doesn't seem to exist for organizations like $cio and the Khurch of PMK.
Ohhh. Have to look that up..
DeleteIt's really unbelievable that the IRS caved to these thugs. How evil is an org if they can intimidate a very vicious government agency?
ReplyDeleteDex- their mo is to tir up up with endless lawsuits, motions and other fodderall, til the subject of lawsuit is completely obsfucated and no one knows if they are coming or going. And they dud indeed infiltrate IRS and other govt jobs simply by having their cult members get clerical jobs there. Of course their tax free status shld be revoked!
DeleteTie it up
DeleteFuck Pappa John's. They're the company that doesn't want to pay for their employees healthcare the cheap shits (and doesn't much care about their customers either). As a Denver Native and Broncos fan, I was very disappointed that Peyton Manning did a commercial for those skinflints. Having said THAT, I hope the actual delivery guy got the tip.
ReplyDeletePeyton Manning owns a bunch of Papa John stores in Colorado. And, shocker, he is making COIN from them. Must have something to do with the Frito pizza (yuck) and the Rocky mountain air.......;)
ReplyDeleteWe are team Pizza Hut at our house.
DeleteI've recently had to cut out some key ingredients (that sadly seem to be in everything) because my body isn't reacting well. Anyways, I discovered this awesome recipe for pizza dough. It's 1 cup greek yogurt, 1.5 cups self-rising flour. I add some garlic and sea salt to it but it's super easy and taste exactly like dough you don't taste the yogurt at all. So, I make my own pizzas now and I usually don't cook.
ReplyDeleteYou know there are at least 3 different major Hollywood located Scientology centers right? That really doesn't clarify the location of the story. They own tons of places around there.
ReplyDeleteI guarantee there was no tip b/c the poor person that received the pizza hadn't gone up the chain of command for permission to tip. Petrified of being "reported" they left it off. When the bad press circulated that lunatic in charge probably sent two people to the hole and begrudgingly sent a check.
