Blossom & magnolia's- restaurants, Shopping on King Street and the market. So many awesome things to see and do there. Just walk around. The Griffin for best dive bar.
Thanks! We are going to Husk tonight and hitting the antique shops. (I swear, we are late 20s/early 30s). It's raining, but still such a gorgeous city.
Ugh, holiday party with coworkers. Free booze, though. I make a little game out of it. I have a drink for every ten minutes I'm completely ignored before I leave. Personal record is 4 drinks.
Blew off gym to get things done. So far that has consisted of breakfast at 11, reading the paper, moving two things to look for something, and laying on the bed doing this. Yeah, im getting things done, lol.
Was getting ready for a trip into the City, but my dog is under the weather - little worried about her & can't imagine what it could be - the other dog is fine & she is tied up when we let her out, so she hasn't been chomping in the compost....lethargic, not interested in food or a walk....
When my cat had a UTI, she went into hiding, quit eating, and the next day just lied there and moaned. Got her an ER vet visit, all bloodwork came back FINE, heart and lungs sounded fine, all Xrays came back fine, and no fever. Vet was ready to dismiss her when I asked for a urinalysis. Bingo. 2-3 weeks of antibiotics (she had a tough one), and she was social and eating and playful again.
My shingles is barely noticeable but the antiviral pills are making me really pissed off. I'm trying not to post anything at all but this is a pre apology in case I'm mean to anyone. Except Kate Walsh because I hate her.
I've had shingles. Worst pain I've had - I've experienced broken limbs, kidney and gallstones, multiple surgeries, have dialysis and kidney failure, & still it was the worst. Dr didn't hesitate in giving me oxys. So glad you missed out on the pain bit Kat! Get well soon.
I'm eating cold Chicken Noodles from last night, all I do is pepper the hell out of it
Easy to make. Just get a pot and add water, take either pre-cooked or raw chicken breasts and boil them through, if raw it takes longer naturally. Take the chicken out, add a few cans of chicken broth and then a package of egg noodles, while they are cooking cut the chicken up. Add the chicken, a can or two of cream of chicken or mushroom soup, and vegetables if you want (I use, corn, green beans, peas and carrots). Let simmer and boom, you're done.
$170.00 vet bill today. That definitely wiped me out until the 30th, when I get paid. Wiped out as in I have less than $20 to live on until then. Oh well. Food is overrated anyway.
Getting ready to go to Charleston! If anyone has tourist - or, more importantly - food ideas, let me know. I already have shrimp & grits on my list.

DeleteGood luck with your pup!
Sorry to hear! Check for Lyme. Antibiotic treatment will have her up and running in no time if that is the case.
DeleteI slipped on an ice patch last night and was like whooooa. Now Lindsay and I have something in common. Bruised knees.
ReplyDeleteI have a migraine today and am pretty much hating on everyone. When in pain, I can be a real cold and heartless bitch...that is all.

DeleteYou have my sympathies Kat, that on the 2015 to do list, get vaccine.
ReplyDeleteI am getting grief for eating my leftovers cold! Is that really so strange, I wonder? It's leftover chicken penne alfredo...
ReplyDeleteFor the record, I rarely heat any of my leftovers.
I'm right with you there-leftovers are always better cold!
