Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought both parties had weird feet. The kid is gorgeous. Is it just the camera angle that makes me look at my fairly normal feet, look at theirs, and think, Aliens!?
I live in Miami. I love when people in LA get excited about their weather. From Accuweather: Los Angeles: today, High 62 (degrees F). Low: 54. Miami: High, 76. Low: 60. No self-respecting Miamian would go near the beach in 62-degree weather.
Sure, we get hurricanes here. We pay for hurricane insurance, and they pay for earthquake insurance. Guess which one you know about a few days in advance, so you can move to safer ground?
You can't "ride out" an earthquake. Nobody has that ability. I think you mean, "every quake I've faced has been minimal or had no real impact." Wait till the big one hits; I hope that never happens.
Also, to clarify: There is another poster here called Pip. I'm Pip Squeak. The other poster must be annoyed when he or she sees posts addressed to just Pip.
But hurricanes are getting more powerful, just wait until they need to add Cat 6 and if global warming happens as some scientists predict and the impact on water levels and weather patterns both Cali and Florida might be under water. When I watch them selling Malibu beach houses on reality TV I think hmm not sure I'd be investing millions in that location.
Yay!! Fergie with the baby!!!!!!

DeleteSweet photo. Fergie's people must have read the scattered internet rumors that she wasn't bonding with Axl. Like magic, this photo shows up.

DeleteMaybe so Pip, but I'll ride out an earthquake any day.
ReplyDeleteMost self-respecting SoCalites aren't at the beach unless they're wearing a wetsuit.
