"Clifford the Big Red Dog" Author Passes Away
Author Norman Bridwell passed away on Friday, December 12, at the age of 86, Us Weekly reports. Bridwell famously authored the "Clifford the Big Red Dog" books. He wrote over 150 books for his publisher Scholastic over the years, 2 of which will be released posthumously in 2015. He is survived by his wife Norma, the couple's two children, and three grandchildren.
Oh, RIP. Thank you for years of enjoyment, first as a child and then, as an aunt and friend/aunt reading these books.

ReplyDeleteI did a mural for a baby's room and after finding out her name would be Emily Elizabeth, we included her on the wall :)

Never read these books....But RIP and thanks for treating the kids to such great books.
