Just in case it isn't clear... I like girls. A lot.

Also let me say if I was gay I wouldn't hide it. Being gay or straight isn't bad or good it just IS. U are who you are. Be true to yourself.

I didn't know it was in question, but thanks for clearing that up for us, Ansel!
what were his parents thinking naming him Ansel? The kid is destined to be something left of center....
ReplyDeleteHis father is a famous photographer Arthur Elgort. Maybe he wanted to name him after another photographer Ansel Adams?
ReplyDeleteThat definitely explains it!
DeleteDundun : I thought the same! I thought about Ansel as a middle name if we have a boy. Unfortunately most of my heroes have unfortunate names. ...
DeleteThey should have just gone all out and named him Hansel.
ReplyDeleteBit the bullet and googled, he was Augustus in The Fault in our Stars. He was recently tapped to play real-life gay pianist Van Cliburn in a forthcoming biopic. I guess that explains his out of the blue tweets?
You're welcome.
I liked him in The Fault in our Stars.
ReplyDeleteNo idea who this guy is and he looks far too young for me to care
ReplyDeleteI thought he was getting all kissy kissy with Nick Jonas at Swift's bday party?
ReplyDelete@sugar Yeah, that was the story. There have been a couple of BIs about him on CDaN recently but they haven't made it over here to my knowledge.
DeleteAnsel sbould know by niw that 100percent of all actors are gay. Some are Danny. DeVito gay who only wears gold lame caftans and mstching turbans.
ReplyDeleteAnsel is a variant form of the English, German, and Spanish name Anselm in the English language.
ReplyDeleteAnsel is unusual as a baby boy name. Its usage peaked modestly in 1906 with 0.006% of baby boys being given the name Ansel. It had a ranking of #854 then. The baby name has experienced a fall in frequency since then, and is now of sporadic use. Among all boy names in its family, Ansel was nonetheless the most popular in 2012.
Well I bet it's more popular than Adolf :)
DeleteHa@Bacon Ranch!
DeleteIt was in response to a fake Instagram post that said he "came out as gay" in a radio interview.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe what a bunch of pussies we have become. Almost any comment made must now be followed up by the obligatory clarification or apology to any perceived group that may or may not have been offended by the original comment no matter how innocuous it may have been.
ReplyDeletePlease don't take my previous message as any criticism of any group:)
DeleteI hear ya
DeleteNo idea who he is but haven't you "made it" when the gay rumors start? I realize that sentence doesn't make sense now...
ReplyDeleteTypical. "Being gay is cool! I'M absolutely NOT gay though, ugh no way." Sigh. So many Twitter posts like this these days.
ReplyDeleteTo me he sounds defensive. If you're not, you're not. Period. Don't placate.
