Kyle Richards Talks Secret To A Happy Marriage

People recently caught up with Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Kyle Richards, and they asked her what her secret is to a happy marriage with husband Mauricio Umansky. Here's what she had to say: "We're a really good match. We get along really well, actually better than you see on television! We fight about the temperature in the room. He always wants it cold! I grew up in a divorced family, and I had a very different upbringing. Now I have a husband I'm in love with who I'm excited to see every day and kids who are together and really tight."

And Mauricio's take: "We're best friends. We actually enjoy each other. She's funny, she makes me laugh. I don't have big guys nights out; Kyle is the person I want to spend most of my time with."

Ron Howard Has Two Stars On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

I didn't even know that this a thing that could happen, but apparently you can have two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, because Ron Howard does. Page Six reports that Ron Howard received his second star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday; this time for filmmaking. I guess the first one was just for acting? Howard had this to say at the ceremony, which was attended by his family and Michael Keaton:

"Two stars are pretty remarkable ... I'm going to have double the foot traffic, twice as many people treading on my good name, but I think it's a great thing and I'm proud of that. However, my ambitions run deep, so two is good, three would be better and I've got a lot of energy. I've been so lucky in this business, I've worked with so many great people. I have so few regrets, practically none, and one of them is just only that it's been far too long since Michael (Keaton) and I made a movie together, so I'm hoping to rectify that sooner rather than later."

Elizabeth Olsen Gives Zero Fucks

Elizabeth Olsen's ex-fiance Boyd Holbrook recently opened up about their breakup in Man of the World. The publication quotes him as follows:

"On the same day that my best friend [David Armstrong] died, I got a call from my girl to tell me it was over. It was depression. David was the first person in my life to encourage me. I was consumed with own personal depression, my own personal scenario at the time...What happened over the course of the journey is that I started noticing the different types of trees. I started noticing the beauty, the details."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Smashed and Crying

This film actor is completely shocked that he was not nominated for a Golden Globes Award. He feels that he gave a fantastic performance and can’t understand why he is not being recognized.

He has spent the past few hours drinking, crying, and complaining. He also smashed something in his room… and then cried again because he was upset that it was broken.

Perhaps if he puts the bottle down, he can focus on turning in a worthy performance in his next film.

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Shock Nomination

This A-list actress received a shock nomination recently that left a lot of people befuddled. The actress has her Oscar, but she also has a history of being snubbed for some of her best work. So, why the hell would she be nominated for this, and not that? An A-list friend, who produced the project, felt so bad for how it turned out that he quietly campaigned for her, as a way of making amends.

Who is the actress?

Who is the friend?

Hollywood Reporter Directors Roundtable

The Hollywood Reporter recently gathered Quentin Tarantino, Ridley Scott, David O. Russell, Danny Boyle, Tom Hooper, and Alejandro G. Inarritu for a directors roundtable. Here are some of the highlights:

What's the biggest challenge facing film, as a whole, today?
SCOTT The problem with this town is there is no tax rebate. We're in the village, the place of the beginning of features, in Hollywood, and there is no tax rebate.
TARANTINO There are philosophical problems with films today. I mean, frankly, I have to tell you the truth, a lot of films that 10 years ago I would have actually [gone] out to the theaters and watched, I can wait for them to get to the cable channels. I'm watching them six or seven months later, and I'm perfectly enjoying them, but I didn't really miss that much.
INARRITU Independent filmmaking has [been] transported to TV. There's great stories, great things. And in a way, the screens are now full of films that look like TV, just on the big screen. There is no revelation, there is no mystery. I need the mystery of it.
SCOTT The bar is lower because there are way too many films being made. Maybe there's too many [directors] in the field and therefore the general quality [is worse].
INARRITU What has happened in the economy in the world is happening to film: the 99 percent and the 1 percent division. Now there are super-expensive films or just very tiny-budget films. The middle-class films are disappearing.

What's the last great film you saw?
SCOTT I saw a very, very good film last night [with] a great comedian now actress —
TARANTINO Oh, the Sarah Silverman movie [I Smile Back]? I haven't seen it, but I just heard about it.
SCOTT Yes. All this big brouhaha, and all these flashy movies with lots of digital effects and all that shit, and this film has pushed the envelope. … When you see what we had two years ago, three years ago, it felt depressing. I got slightly depressed about the general quality of films.
BOYLE We've just come off a bruising experience with Steve Jobs, trying to open it out much wider in America. We failed to reach that widest audience. And you should reach that widest audience, because [moviegoing] is not a club. Its origins are ordinary people at the end of a tough week who just want to go and lose themselves in some extraordinary idea or image or creation.
TARANTINO The key to what you're saying is that this is a working-man's art form. It's not opera, it's not theater. That was one of the reasons why movies flourished in the '30s. And it's not anymore.

Read the full roundtable at The Hollywood Reporter.

Ed "Sharter" Sheeran To Have Ear Surgery

Ed "Sharter" Sheeran recently revealed on an Australian radio show that he will be undergoing ear surgery in early 2016. Here's what he had to say, as reprinted by The Hollywood Reporter:

“I have to have an operation in January on my ear because I stupidly jumped off a yacht really high up and smashed it. I landed wrong, and it burst my eardrum so I have to go and get a graft, which means I’m not allowed to fly for a while, so it’s kind of good ... it means I have to stay at home...It’s the most painful thing having a hole in your eardrum and having water go in,”

Matt Damon To Give Commencement Speech at MIT

MIT News reports that 18 years after the release of Good Will Hunting, Matt Damon will give the commencement speech at Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the class of 2016. Damon released the following statement: “I am humbled and thrilled by this invitation,” Damon says. “I feel a deep affinity for MIT having grown up in the neighborhood. It’s quite an honor to be the commencement speaker at a school that I couldn't have gotten into.”

Noel Gallagher Still Hates Everything

British rock curmudgeon Noel Gallagher was recently asked by NME what he thought about Adele. Here's what he had to say:

“If someone wants to know what I think of Adele, I’ll [bleeping] tell them . . . I just don’t see what all the fuss is about. I don’t like her music. I think it’s music for [bleeping] grannies . . . A sea of cheese. Music has nose-dived into [bleeping] blandness . . . It is interesting that no one ever talks about my love of U2 and Coldplay . . . Lately, the one I’ve been asked about is Adele.”

Don't ever change, Noel.

Celebrity Real Estate - Naomi Watts/Liev Schreiber Edition

Chad Kroger of Nickelback Sued by Lloyd's Of London

Nickelback mercifully cancelled more than 60 concerts last summer because lead singer Chad Kroger had a cyst on his vocal chords that prevented him from singing. Sadly, Kroger has since gotten surgery to remove the cyst and is able to torture the world with his voice once again. TMZ reports that Kroger filed a $13 million claim with Lloyd's of London, the band's insurer for the tour, to recoup some of the monetary losses from the cancelled dates. However, Lloyd's of London says that Kroger failed to disclose his condition prior to policy issue, so they are suing to cancel the policy. I'm sure they also take issue with Chad Kroger's singing voice being worth $13 million. Now, for those of you who would like to form a class action suit against Kroger for the abuse that your ears have taken over the years, the line starts to the left.

Ben Affleck Canoodling With Sienna Miller

Us Weekly reports that Ben Affleck and Sienna Miller have been canoodling between takes on the set of their new movie Live by Night. Raise your hand if you're surprised by that. Yep, that's what I thought. Hey, at least Affleck's already getting divorced, and Miller might not have to be worried about being cheated on with the nanny, because Ben's been there and done that. So, progress?

Better Call Shia

Drop what you're doing and run to a phone, because the BBC reports that Shia LaBeouf's newest art installation is a call center, and he wants to hear from you! The World's Most Romantic Post

Okay guys, I'm officially worried. Ian Somerhalder's birthday was on Tuesday, and guess what Nikki Reed posted for her husband's birthday? Zip. Zilch. Nada. Not even a tweet. For comparison's sake, here's what she posted last year. Now let's all gather 'round and hold a prayer circle in hopes that the love between Ian and Nikki has not died.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Porky Pies

For years, people have referred to this TV girl as The Nice One or The Real One.

That’s not her, folks. That’s a character.

She is actually just as big a liar, a phony, and an opportunist as everyone around her. It’s interesting that people seem to be catching on to that fact just now.

We were going to compile a list of all her porky pies, but we think it would be more interesting if you did it. Starting with her appearance, list everything that’s fake about her. Then move on to her workouts, her parentage, her relationships with men, and anything else you can think of. For an added bonus, tell us the amount of $$$ all of this fakery has earned her.

The list will be long, but it will help you see for yourself just how phony she is… and how profitable all that phoniness has been.

BG Note: Porky pies = lies in Cockney rhyming slang. Actual pork pies are delicious with Colman’s mustard.

Gina Rodriquez Talks Dating While Famous

Jane the Virgin star and Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez split from boyfriend Henri Esteve earlier this year. Rodriguez recently sat down with People to talk about dating with her new notoriety. The magazine quotes her as follows:

"People think you hit some kind of success and then, boom, everything unfolds for you. But that's completely untrue. You have to work twice as hard because now everyone's, like, 'Yo! You got this award. You better get up on it!' Relationships and friendships have gotten a little more difficult. You have to keep a real and honest and clear passageway with everybody in your life. You can't allow the yes men to get in your head because the hype can be scary."

On her Golden Globe win:
"The Hollywood Foreign Press Association changed my life. They found me in my little corner of all this television madness. I love that they are giving me the chance to give back and find a young filmmaker who has been in their own little nook. Plus, I love champagne."

Hollywood Street King Blind Item - Kan't Shake The Kurse

Today’s blind item can’t seem to shake the obvious kurse that kontinues keeping up with him. Know why? Because merely weeks have passed since he was discharged from rehab … and sadly, word is he’s already taken up drinking his problems away again.

Dig the drop:

We’re told dude was triggered by none other than his femme fatale baby momma, after she recently banned him from their family home.

Now, can you guess the relapsing one I’m talking about?

Mandy Moore Divorce Update

Mandy Moore, 31, and Ryan Adams, 41, announced that they were divorcing all the way back in January. People reports that the divorce is taking so long because the couple has been unable to reach an agreement over money and their eight cats and dogs. Adams was supposed to have taken two of the cats, but has failed to do so. Moore is requesting spousal support, as well as financial support for the animals, which she says in the filing: "Although I love our pets, it is overwhelming for me to take care of eight of them all of the time. [I had to] cancel a prior work engagement because my housekeeper was ill and unable to stay with our pets while I traveled for work ... Without Ryan's help caring for the house and our pets, I have not been able to work as much as I would like."

Celebrity Real Estate - Joe Jonas Rental Edition

After selling his house, Joe Jonas is currently rently Balthazar Getty's pad to the tune of $2,600/night. The home is also currently on the market for $10.25 million. The 6,000 square foot home features six bedrooms, nine full bathrooms plus one additional shitter, a guest house, a desert garden, and direct access to the hiking trails at Runyon Canyon. See pictures of the property at Curbed.

Jared Leto Suing TMZ

TMZ recently published a video of Jared Leto and an audio engineer critiquing Taylor Swift's 1989, and at the end of the tape, Leto says of Swift, "I mean, fuck her. I don't give a fuck about her." After the video was published, Leto tweeted, "The truth is I think @taylorswift13 is amazing + an incredible example of what's possible. If I hurt her or her fans my sincerest apologies."

Now Leto is suing TMZ, because they published a video that they knew to be stolen. The videographer sold the footage to TMZ for $2,000. Leto released the following statement to The Hollywood Reporter:

"Last Sunday, I was alerted that TMZ had acquired personal and private video footage of me in my home and that they were planning to leak it on their site. My team notified TMZ immediately that I fully owned the footage and that their source had absolutely no rights to sell it. They chose to post it anyway. Let's be clear. This was stolen footage. This was an invasion of privacy. And it was both legally and morally wrong. Regardless of who we are, we should all be able to talk freely in the privacy of our own homes without the fear that our unfiltered thoughts or actions will get broadcast to the world. We have the right to privacy and security and when we don't have protections in place to safeguard those things, we lose the freedom to speak loudly and clearly - right or wrong - about anything and everything we choose to. I have chosen to file this lawsuit not because I want to, but in hopes it will encourage more people to stop trafficking in stolen goods, to follow proper legal procedure and so that it may motivate additional consideration for the harm these acts can create, especially when the only intention is to simply further the bottom line for the companies and corporations that commit these acts."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Obvious Father

This celebrity couple just discovered that they are pregnant. So what’s holding up the announcement?

The couple was going through a rough patch a couple of months ago. We don’t know what the argument was about, but it was serious enough that he took off for a couple of days. He just told him that she needed some space and took off.

Well, while he was getting some space, she hooked up with a sympathetic friend (who is also a celebrity). So now she is not sure which of the two men is the real father of the baby.

Without commenting too much on the appearance of the three people involved here, let’s just say that if the pregnancy goes to term, it will be VERY obvious which of the two men is the father! It will be interesting to see if she takes that chance.

Congratulations?
