Aziz Ansari and Girlfriend Courtney McBroom Share How They Met

Aziz Ansari and his girlfriend, chef Courtney McBroom recently sat down for an interview with Food & Wine magazine, where they talked about how they met. The magazine quotes them as follows:

McBroom: "I was working at Momofuku Milk Bar in Manhattan. Someone said, 'Aziz Ansari is here!' I didn’t know who he was. A year later we met at an event and bonded over Hokey Pokey cookies. They’re made from smoked oats and a weird New Zealand toffee candy called Hokey Pokey. Basically, the Hokey Pokey brought us together.”

Ansari: “It’s definitely awesome to be with someone who has skills in the kitchen. I mix drinks so I feel like I’m contributing something. Lately it’s been margaritas. I’m not going to lie about it: I am not a big margarita guy. But in Mexico we discovered a honey liqueur, XtabentĂșn, and it has changed my margarita game.”

Lindsay Lohan Loses Lawsuit

Lindsay and Dina Lohan recently sued Fox News because someone joked on air that "Lindsay Lohan's mom is doing cocaine with her." TMZ reports that a judge has just thrown out the lawsuit. Why? I'll let the judge say it: "Truth is a defense." Burn! You see, you can't sue people for saying that you're a cokehead when you actually are a cokehead. And you can't sue people for saying that your mother is a cokehead when your father has your taped phone call of you saying "Mom's on cocaine." Better luck next time!

Heidi Fleiss's Client List Going Up For Auction

Holy shit! Time to break out the collection plate and bid on this action! TMZ reports that Heidi Fleiss's infamous black book is going up for sale on ebay. The book is actually a red Gucci planner, and is 28 pages of her former clients, including actors, musicians, sports figures, agency execs, and politicians. Christmas has come early this year!

Popbitch Blind Item - Banging The Bodyguard

Which Strictly Come Dancing star had a lucky escape a few years back? One Sunday paper discovered she was having an affair – but backed off when they realised that the person she was banging was an important political bodyguard, and the paper didn’t much fancy having Special Branch breathing down their necks. And how did the paper find this all out in the first place? By listening to her voicemails, of course!

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Lying About Sobriety And Love

Despite the reports of him acting wasted and completely out of it at several events in the past few weeks, this young actor’s “girlfriend” has come out in his defense and is telling people that he is completely sober… and that they are really, really in love.

The fact that she describes herself as a “marketing mastermind”- coupled with fact that her relationship with him is totally fake – should tell you everything you need to know about the truthfulness of any statement she makes.

Lupita Nyong'o Shares How Growing Up In Kenya Shaped Her Style

Lupita Nyong'o recently sat down for an interview with Vogue, where she talked about the impact that growing up in Kenya has on her personal style. The magazine quotes her as follows:

“Presentation is extremely important in Kenya. You dress formally. You can’t just wear flip-flops. My mother always had her own style. She wore A-line, tea-length flowery dresses, very well fitting. Her nails were always perfectly done. Salons were a big feature in my life. We would go every two weeks to get our hair braided, washed or treated. That’s where I read American, British and a few African magazines. Then I would design my own clothes. In Kenya, it’s much cheaper to get clothes made than to buy them. We would have everything run up by a tailor, or my aunt Kitty, who is very creative, would sew things for me.”

Christie Brinkley Dating John Mellencamp

People reports that Christie Brinkley, 61, is apparently dating John Mellencamp, 63. The pair have been spotted out on dates in New York City twice this week. Mellencamp split from Meg Ryan just over a year ago; Brinkley hasn't been publicly linked to anyone since her 2008 divorce from Peter Cook.

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Declining Parents

The declining A-list parents of this despised C-list actor are refusing to accept him for who he is and are pretty much forcing him to obey their order on a very specific thing. ‘They think of the kid as a robot,’ says a source. ‘Someone to programme and deny / grant independence on whatever they wish. The kid’s not a bad boy and he’s very aware of what people think of him, but he’s not used to this level of strict parenting. His parents usually allowed him to do whatever he wished, but on this, they’re staying firm.”

Michael Fassbender Is Back On The Market

Actor Michael Fassbender, 38, has split from girlfriend Alicia Vikander, 26, after less than a year together, reports Us Weekly. Their last public appearance together was back in May. Fassbender has talked in the past about how he puts his career before his personal life: "I'm kind of selfish with the hours that I put into the work. I think the longest relationship that I've been in was two years...I started doing this when I was 17, so I guess in my dating, adult life, that kind of covers it."

Stevie Wonder Screwed By Lawyer

What kind of asshole takes advantage of a blind guy? Stevie Wonder's now-deceased lawyer, that's who. TMZ reports that Johanan Vigoda, Wonder's long time attorney and right-hand man for decades duped him into signing a deal that gave Johanan 6% of all music royalties (which Wonder way okay with), and snuck in a clause that states even after Johanan dies, Wonder has to pay Johanan's family that same 6% FOREVER. Yeah. Johanan left that part out when he told Stevie about the contract, and being that Stevie is blind, he couldn't see what he was signing and trusted his attorney to tell him the truth. As if this all wasn't bad enough, Johanan's widow is countersuing Stevie for trying to nullify the clause, and demanding that he pay her a minimum of $7 million immediately, and untold riches until FOREVER. Yeah. Team Stevie Wonder on this one.

Nicholas Brendon Talks Dr. Phil

Nicholas Brendon's Dr. Phil episode aired on Wednesday (I know, you would think that they would do more to promote it so that we would know when to tape it!). The show was predictably a shit show. Brendon released the following statement on his Facebook page, as reprinted by Us Weekly:

“So…that aired. It was extremely sad that the producers decided to sensationalize and exaggerate the already-disappointing events of the past year…A few things I need to clarify, for the sake of my family and loved ones. Dr. Phil had some hard words for my mother, who I love dearly and who I have caused more heartache than I care to remember. When I was molested as a child, it was 1982. Therapy wasn’t talked about and accepted the way it is today. Going to therapy in 1982 would be similar to getting a divorce in 1950. It wasn’t done, and if it was, it wasn’t supported by those around you. There certainly were not the kind of resources that fortunately exist for abused children today. My mother, a victim of child abuse herself, was convinced by others that the best thing for me was to just put it behind us and move forward. My mother regrets this deeply, and it hurt me that Dr. Phil took her to task for not forcing me into treatment at the time.

The night before the show taped, I got drunk. Drunk to the point I still smelled of it the following morning. I was very stressed about doing the show. I always have and always will take full responsibility for my actions. I will also defend my loved ones. I am grateful for the support of my family, girlfriend and my wonderful fans. By no means am I a perfect person, but I am also not the monster as portrayed by this show. I am actively participating in treatment and remaining positive in the light of negativity. It will remain my goal to one day obtain the clarity and clearness of spirit that Dr. Phil demonstrates daily. I commend those living with depression, alcoholism, the kicker that is dual diagnosis and are brave enough to speak out and ask for help. You guys are my heroes.”

Kellan Lutz Sues Clothing Designer

Kellan Lutz has a clothing line with Daniel Guez called Abbot & Main. TMZ reports that Lutz is suing Guez for $1.5 million, and claiming that Guez has ripped him off. The company generates tens of millions of dollars, but Lutz hasn't seen any of the royalties. The suit also accuses Guez of hiding funds in accounts that are in other peoples' names so that Lutz can't get the money. Hmmm...two dudes having a business partnership. Kind of reminds you of Jeremy Renner and Kristoffer Winters, doesn't it?

The World's Most Romantic Post

Yep, it's that time again. Nikki Reed's next Elle column is up. A portion of it appears below:

"I spent the last two weeks reading many of your responses to my last column and have been answering as frequently as my schedule would allow given that I am currently in production. It is important to me for you to know that I am not someone who can skim through your eloquently written and vulnerably presented thoughts on the topic. I actually read them, and have one thing to say: thank you. I found myself so enveloped by all of you; your ideas, your feelings, your stories, your wisdom, and your perspective. To be perfectly honest with you, I am at a loss for words.

While I set out to challenge each of you to email me about what makes you feel good, I had no idea how inspired I would find myself. I quickly realized this was not a one-sided challenge: Your responses have sparked a fire in me. I found myself Googling the meaning of the word "inspiration," because I was sure I would find something that could better express how I felt about all of you. What goes without saying is the amount of love and light that each and every one of you possess. Some of you suggested changing the way we view the world, each other, our animals, and our youth. Others talked about the joy they feel from teaching people, loving one another, helping strangers, connecting with kids being picked on at school, creating art, volunteering, or dancing in their living room for no reason. I read about girls being bullied and girls who were once bullies. I heard from teachers, mothers, and siblings about their perspective as an outsider looking in, wanting to help.

...So start with that. Find your own power in knowing that just because some girl at school scared you or made you cry, it does not mean she can control you or your feelings. Pretty powerful, right? One girl even wrote, "They are bullies because they are alone," which is another interesting observation—one with a seemingly simple solution."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - When The Talent Has Approval

If you pay a celebrity millions of dollars to be in a commercial for your product – not just doing a voice over, but actually IN the commercial – you want the talent on camera the majority of the time. Think Jennifer Aniston in an Aveeno commercial, or Rob Lowe for DirectTV. Those companies got their money’s worth out of their celebrity spokespeople, didn’t they?

The last spokesperson for this particular company was game for anything the role entailed, and she was on screen during at least half the commercial. The company naturally expected the same of the new spokesperson. But they did something really dumb: They gave the new talent approval over her image.

Uh oh. This a person who is wildly controlling about the way she looks, and who demands that her image reflect the kind of perfection that she simply doesn’t have in real life.

By the time our celebrity sifted through the hours of footage they had taken, there were only a few seconds of film that she was willing to approve… and only after those few seconds were highly edited to make her look taller and thinner!

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Under His Spell

This A-list performer is currently starring on a reality show, but what she doesn’t know is her hustler fiancĂ©e is stealing money from her. ‘It’s like she’s under his spell,’ says my source. ‘She allows him to get away with anything.’

Who is our A-list performer?

Helen Mirren Talks Female Empowerment

Dame Helen Mirren recently sat down for an interview with You Magazine, where she talked about female empowerment and aging. The magazine quotes her as follows:

"It annoys me when I see men with an arm slung round their girlfriend’s shoulders. It’s like ownership. Of course, when you’re young, you want the guy to take your hand and look after you. But when I see girls being leaned on, I want to say, 'Tell him to get his damned arm off your shoulder.' Women are still toddlers. Trying to find their position in the age of sexual liberation, birth control, education and financial independence. We’re still finding our path. And yes, we’re making a lot of mistakes along the way....

Growing old is not for pussies. You’ve got to have courage. But then, you’ve got to have courage in life anyway...People often say, 'It's so terrible that women don't have great roles in movies.' I say: 'Forget that. That doesn't matter. Change roles for women in life, and you will find the roles for women in drama.'"

Jenna Dewan-Tatum Talks Motherhood

After performing on the So You Think You Can Dance finale, Jenna Dewan-Tatum sat down for an interview with People, where she talked about life with daughter Everly, 2. The magazine quotes her as follows:

"Everly loves a good dance party. She definitely is a Frozen fan at the moment. All we do is dance to Frozen and it’s fun. Every now and again, I can get her to change it over and we listen to some actual fun pop music and she’ll be like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, so Let It Go.’ ...[Everly]’s really into gymnastics. There’s one [book], it’s called Tina Tumbles. She tells me she’s doing cartwheels. We go to a little baby gymnastics class so I got her to wear a leotard because Tina Tumbles wears a leotard. That’s her favorite. That’s her go-to right now...I’m going to let her have whatever future she wants to have. I’m not going to push anything. Obviously, if it was dance, it would be something that’s in my wheelhouse. I just want her to be happy and passionate about something in life. That would make me happy.”

Jessica Biel Wants To Teach You Sex Ed

Jessica Biel is teaming up with WomenCare Global founder Saundra Pelletier to launch an online series of sex-ed videos. The pair recently sat down for an interview with Glamour; the magazine quotes them as follows:

Pelletier: "More than half of our nation's pregnancies are unplanned, and just 22 states require public schools to teach sex education. Jessica and I realized we can help change this...There is power and dignity in understanding your body."

Biel: "We want girls to know what their [body is going through] so they don't feel scared or ashamed or gross. We share girl stories, fears, and insecurities. The tone is informative but also goofy, smart, witty."

You can view the videos online at WomanCareGlobal.org.

Kristen Stewart Talks High Profile Breakups

Kristen Stewart recently sat down for an interview with The Daily Beast, where she talked about her breakup from Robert Pattinson and working with Nicholas Hoult in their new movie Equals, as he had a similarly high-profile breakup from Jennifer Lawrence. The magazine quotes Stewart as follows:

On her split from Robert Pattinson:
"It was incredibly painful. Ugh, fucking kill me."

On working with Nicholas Hoult:
"It was a really good time for both of us to make this movie. Not all of my friends have been through what I’ve been through, or what some people have tasted at a relatively speaking young age, and we were not expected to do anything. Everything that we did was explorative, and a meditation on what we already knew. We all felt akin by how much we’ve been through, and to utilize that is so scary. And to acknowledge it, reassess, and jump back into it? Usually you want to move on. But at least we could use some of that for some good. This movie was a meditation on firsts, and a meditation on maintaining, and a meditation on the ebbs and flows of what it’s like to love someone—your feelings versus your ideals, the bursting of bubbles, the shattering of dreams you thought were possible, and what you have to contend with as things get more realistic.

Relationships — you just never fucking know. If you've been hurt—you know when you've broken up with someone and you look at someone walking down the street holding hands and think, 'Ugh, give it a fuckin' year. Let me know how you feel in a year.' Ugh, I don't believe in that. Well, if we did our jobs right, then it would be to remind you that you can definitely get back to that, and how hard, amazing, and life-fulfilling those feelings were in the very beginning."

Celebrity Real Estate - Goran Visnjic Edition

Actor Goran Visnjic has put his Los Angeles home on the market for $4.85 million. The 1930's Mediterranean villa is about 4,000 square feet, and features four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, and an outdoor Moroccan-style lounge. See pictures of the property at Variety.

Maria Menounos Talks Taking Over At E!

Maria Menounos recently sat down for an interview with Redbook Magazine, where she talked about her new job working for E! The magazine quotes her as follows:

"When I was being sought after by E!, I made it very clear to them that I didn't want to be coming over to take somebody's job. And I was assured that wasn't the case. That's always been important to me. I remember years ago, I was asked to replace someone with a sick child. I was young and it would have been a huge job for me, but I told them I couldn't take it. I have a pretty strict code with these kinds of things. If a guy beats another guy out for job, it's like, Hey, congratulations. With women, it's a different story. The last two years were very challenging for me, both professionally and personally. I just felt kind of lost and I didn't know how to handle it.

I grew up always worried about what everyone was going to think of me. But the thing is, I'm not perfect — no one is. But I've learned that I have to be accepting of myself... I do have a problem where I think I always have to be working and achieving something — I'm really trying to work on it. You will never catch me sitting by the pool or watching TV by myself. It's hard for me to shut down. Women have been sold a bill of goods. My biggest struggle is the idea of having kids. Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning with everything that's going on in my life and there aren't even kids in my equation yet. On my reality show last year, I was talking about freezing my eggs. I started the process, but I wasn't successful, and it's still not happening. So let's call it what it is — not a good situation."

Matt Damon Says Sorry Not Sorry

In a follow up to yesterday's post, Matt Damon has apologized for thinking that diversity is an old old wooden ship. Or did he? Damon released the following statement to The Wrap: "I am sorry that [my comments] offended some people, but, at the very least, I am happy that they started a conversation." Hmmm, that doesn't really sound much like apology, does it? Maybe he's been taking apology lessons from his bestie Ben Affleck: "I am sorry that you're upset that I'm having sex with the nanny, but I am happy that my needs were met." Yeah, I can see why they're getting divorced.

Miley Cyrus Has A New Man

According to the new issue of Us Weekly, Miley Cyrus, 22,  has started "hooking up" with comedian Dane Cook, 43. Over the summer, Cyrus was linked to Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell.

Adrienne Bailon Is Back On The Market

Former Cheetah Girl and current co-host of The Real Adrienne Bailon has split from fiance Lenny Santiago, reports Us Weekly. The couple had been together for 6 years, and were engaged for 7 months. Bailon released the following statement: "I am, of course, sad that things didn't go as we planned, but we still remain close friends. Six years is a long time to be together, but we had to make the decision to go with our hearts and not be embarrassed or afraid of change. He absolutely helped make me a better person and I will forever cherish the time we shared together."

Southern Charm Duo Expecting Second Child

Remember the Season 2 Southern Charm reunion, where Kathryn Dennis, 24, basically accused Thomas Ravenel, 53, of stalking her, and Thomas said there was no way the two were ever getting back together? People announces that Kathryn and Thomas are expecting their second child together. Their son is due in December. For those of you doing the math, yes, that means that she was pregnant at the Season 2 reunion taping. The two had this to say:

Dennis: "I'm just excited about the baby. And I'm happy [our daughter] Kensie will have a friend to play with. It's nice that they will be so close in age...I was surprised. Thomas and I are always on and off, but we had a whirlwind romance that weekend. That's kind of how we were with the first pregnancy, too. Things were wishy-washy, but we embraced it...We are friends. We communicate and things are pleasant. That's all I can really hope for...It's been much more mellow and a little more peaceful. I haven't been sick or had any complications, which is good. I've been lucky."

Ravenel: "The greatest gift thus far in my life has been the privilege of being a father to my daughter Kensie. Now, with a son on the way, I feel doubly blessed. 'My cup runneth over.'"

The non-couple are already parents to daughter Kensington Calhoun, 18 months.

Simon Le Bon Talks Collaborating With Lindsay Lohan

Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon recently sat down for an interview with People, where he talked about collaborating with Lindsay Lohan on the band's 14th album Paper Gods, which was released last week. The magazine quotes him as follows:

"I've known Lindsay for years and years and years. I met her in New York when we were both appearing on the Regis and Kelly show, believe it or not, so we stayed in contacted in a relaxed way. She texted me, and I said, "Well, I'll try and find a slot for you." And then "Dancephobia" came up. We really needed something special for that little space in that song, and Lindsay delivered 100 percent. What's it brought to the album? It has brought a little controversy. She polarizes people, Lindsay – doesn't she? She's very special. I'm really proud that we've got her on it. "

Hollywood Street King - Voted Off With The Quickness

The producers behind the popular dance television show, that these two are now competing on, seem to have regrets in ever extending these two blind item ladies an invite to step on their ABC stage. That’s because the ratchet factor these two reality TV stars have brought to the set is said to be “stagnating production!”

“Producers are growing tired both of ’em. They need to take that bad biz to the Jerry Springer show!” ~ABC-TV Source

“_____ threatened to beat up ______ and _____ is scared to death. If they both keep up with their childish attitude? They’re both going to get voted off with the quickness.”

Matt Damon Thinks That Diversity Is An Old Old Wooden Ship

Okay, maybe not quite that bad, but close. On a recent episode of Project Greenlight (yes, that show is still on HBO and on its fourth season), Matt Damon decided to explain diversity to Effie Brown, an African-American female producer. Us Weekly reports that Damon tells Brown that when you talk about diversity, it doesn't mean anyone behind the camera: "When we’re talking about diversity, you do it in the casting of the film, not in the casting of the show." Oh, and Damon interrupted Brown to explain that to her. Yeah, and you always thought that between Damon and Affleck, Damon was the smarter one! Somewhere, Ben Affleck is smiling. Mostly because he's getting a blow job from a nanny.

Facebook Creating A Dislike Button

Time reports that Facebook is finally creating a dislike button. CEO Mark Zuckerberg had this to say about the button's intent: "If you’re expressing something sad . . . it may not feel comfortable to ‘like’ that post, but your friends and people want to be able to express that they understand." Sure, that's one way you could use it, but let's face it. Most people are going to use it to be dicks. Think of how fun it will be every time your real life "Ian and Nikki" couple friends (everyone has "that couple" on their feed) post something annoyingly sappy. You know you're heading straight for that dislike button!

Bradley Cooper Talks Cooking Past

Bradley Cooper recently sat down for an interview with Details to promote his new movie "Burnt." In the interview, Cooper talks about his past working as a cook. The magazine quotes him as follows:

“I worked for most of my life as a cook. When I was 15, I was a busboy at a Greek restaurant and then I worked as a prep cook through college. My mother’s side is Italian, so I grew up cooking all the time with my grandmother. Thank God the role was a chef, because I didn’t have much time to prep. There’s no stunt double. Everything in there I’m cooking.”

Comedy Central has renewed the Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore through the end of 2016, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Johnny Depp Gives Advice On Bullying

Johnny Depp was recently promoting his new film Black Mass at the Toronto Film Festival, when a reporter asked him about bullying. E! quotes Depp as follows:

"I remember when I was a kid and I was little, like maybe 6 years old or something like that, there was a little horror at the school who was needling me or whatever, and I think I told my mom or something. I come home from nothing but hillbillies, and my mom said to me, ‘All right, here’s the deal: The next time anybody puts their hands on you, pick up a brick and lay them out.’ If somebody tried to bully my kid, if they didn’t destroy the little booger, I would."

Lindsey Vonn Rebound's With Brit Brit's Ex

After splitting from Tiger Woods earlier this year, Olympic Ski champion Lindsey Vonn, 30, is dating Britney Spears' most recent ex-boyfriend Charlie Ebersol, 32. Page Six reports that the couple was spotted cozying up with each other at the US Open over the weekend.

They said it wouldn't last, and they were right! Singer Christina Milian, 33, and rapper Lil Wayne, 32, have called it quits after a year of dating. Page Six has a source that states, "They have broken up. Their schedules started getting extremely busy and the distance was not easy for them both. They are not on bad terms. They are just taking a break. Christina is focusing on herself now and surrounding herself with close girlfriends like Karrueche Tran. They both understand each other and girlfriends are exactly what she wants about now."

Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - The Reason For His Erratic Behavior

This is going to be a shocking post for those of you who are fans of this young musician.

He was such a nice kid when he started out, but now it’s all gone downhill. The drugs, the breakups (plural), the photos, the fights, etc. have becoming an everyday occurrence. Fans love him and want to support him, but his behavior is erratic, self-destructive, and very puzzling.

So… why is he behaving so irrationally?

A few months ago, he was diagnosed as bi-polar.

He has been prescribed medication, but he is currently refusing to take his meds. Instead, he uses the drugs and the alcohol to manage his huge mood swings. Everyone around him knows that is becoming a danger to himself, but frankly, there is little they can do about it. Similar to the Amanda Bynes situation, he is an adult, and no one can force him into treatment until he gets to the point where he is a danger to himself or others. Until then, you can expect the irrational behavior to continue.

There will be one Bonus Clue on Twitter later. Only one.

BONUS CLUE: If you think this is about an American, you are looking in the wrong direction.

Gabrielle Union Talks Motherhood Vs. Career

Actress Gabrielle Union recently sat down for an interview with Redbook Magazine, where she talked about career vs motherhood in Hollywood, and her marriage to Dwyane Wade. The magazine quotes her as follows:

"His teammates, were conceived when I was, like, a senior in high school. I was in high school at the same time as their parents! Sometimes he’ll be like, ‘Oh, my God, he’s so old!’ about someone who’s 35. But, Dwyane’s an old 33, and I’m a young 42, so it balances out.”

On starting a family:
“So far, it has not happened for us. A lot of my friends deal with this. There’s a certain amount of shame that is placed on women who have perhaps chosen a career over starting a family younger. The penance for being a career woman is barrenness. You feel like you’re wearing a scarlet letter. The reality is that women are discriminated against in the workplace for being mothers. As much as there are strides being made — you get pregnant, your career takes a hit. You can’t have a bad day. Don’t you dare cry at work. Don’t raise your voice. Especially if you’re a black woman in corporate America — now you’re ‘the angry black woman.'”

Rolling Stone Interviewed Terrence Howard

You know that Terrence "Baby Wipes" Howard gives crazy good interview. He recently sat down with Rolling Stone, as did ex-wife Mira Pak; here are some of the highlights:

Mira Pak on Terrence Howard:
"...He's not perfect. Doesn't do the dishes. Doesn't cook. Doesn't lift a finger. I probably leave him 30 times a month. He's so selfish. But, you know, he didn't have much of a childhood. It was difficult for him being picked on and bullied all the time. We don't have a normal life. In our two years together, I've only gone to restaurants with him two or three times. We've never been to the supermarket together. We've never been to the movies. I've never gotten a gift from him. Never, never."

Terrence Howard, Talking to himself as his dad:
"You see that curly motherfucker right there? That little redheaded motherfucker right there? You love him, because the only person that's gonna be there no matter what happens in your life is that little motherfucker."

Terrence Howard on what his dad taught him:
"My daddy taught me, 'Never take the vertebrae out of your back or the bass out of your throat. I ain't raisin' sheep. I raised men. Stay a man.' But being a man comes with a curse because it's not a society made for men to flourish anymore. Everything is androgynous, you know? The more successful men now are the effeminate. The people that judge you don't matter. They're not real. Everything is just frequencies."

Terrence Howard on Therapy:
"The sooner people declare me insane, the sooner I'll be free. Back in the Nineties or something. Told me I was crazy. No, he actually told me I had a sex addiction. I said, 'So what do I do?' He said, 'Don't have any sex.' I was like, 'Okay, good, I getcha, I getcha.'"

Terrence Howard On Advice From His Uncle and Oprah:
"I spent all my time as a kid trying to fit in. My uncle said to me, 'Why are you so busy trying to fit in when you were born to stand out?' I was 14. He said, 'You're a young prince, and someday ye shall grow up to be a king.' Many years ago, Oprah said to me, 'Your crown is waiting right there. Pick it up and put it on.' I remember being in the womb, found comfort there, and have been aware since that moment. As a result of the travesties I've gone through, I have become awakened."

Terrence Howard On How He Got Robert Downey Jr The Role of Ironman:
"I called Robby and was like, 'Look, man . . .' Leaving messages with his assistants, called him at least 17 times that day and 21 the next and finally left a message saying, 'Look, man, I need the help that I gave you.' Never heard from him. And guess who got the millions I was supposed to get? He got the whole franchise, so I've actually given him $100 million, which ends up being a $100 million loss for me from me trying to look after somebody, but, you know, to this day I would do the same thing. It's just my nature."

Terrence Howard On "The Best Man":
"[I said] 'This is a joke, so say it as a joke.' I was like, 'Y'all do what you want, but I'm not going to mutilate this moment.' And I said the line like I wanted, pausing before saying, 'Y'all know there ain't nothin' better than pussy, except some new pussy.' That seals my character, who he was. But after that, they spent the next year talking about how difficult I was. Then the movie comes out, I get all these accolades, and now the producers are like, 'Oh, you made the movie.' But now they've set it up that Terrence is difficult, and so that has followed me."

When Hipster Rockers Fight

TMZ reports that Jack White got into a fight with The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney in a NYC Bar over the weekend. Carney described the skirmish as "A 40 year old bully tried to fight the 35 year old nerd." To which White responded, "Nobody tried to fight you, Patrick. Nobody touched you or 'bullied' you. You were asked a question you couldn't answer so you walked away. Quit whining to the Internet and speak face to face like a human being. End of story." I'm guessing the question was, "How long does it take a hipster rock star to grow a beard?" All was resolved peacefully, as Patrick Carney tweeted, "Talked to Jack for an hour he's cool. All good."
